If you have not chosen a plan by then, the organization is locked; 90 days after the lock, it and everything in it is permanently deleted, unless you choose a plan first.

What is in the demo? +
The demo runs for 30 days and needs no card. What happens when the demo ends? +
Your demo lasts 30 days. If you have not chosen a plan by then, the organization is locked; 90 days after the lock, it and everything in it is permanently deleted, unless you choose a plan first. We email your organization admins 7 days and 1 day before the lock, when it happens, and 14 days before the deletion. An admin can download the organization's data at any point before the deletion date.
What is the difference between Premium and Enterprise? +
The number of AI systems, and Watney's fair-use limit, which scales with the plan. Premium includes 1 AI system, and each additional system is $49 a month or $499 a year. Enterprise has no limit. Every other feature is the same on both. A system counts in every lifecycle stage except rejected, suspended and retired.
Is Watney included? +
Yes. Watney, the AI assistant, is included on Premium and Enterprise at no extra charge, within fair-use limits. If your organization reaches a limit, Watney pauses, and the pause message says when it resumes or how to turn it back on; approvals, registers and exports never depend on Watney and keep working. It is not part of the demo.
Can we pay monthly? +
Yes. Both plans are sold monthly or annually; annual is about two months cheaper.
Which frameworks are included? +
Every plan, and the demo, includes every framework pack: NIST AI RMF 1.0 and NIST AI 600-1 (Generative AI Profile). Assessments run at two levels: your organization's program, and each AI system.
Are seats limited? +
No. Every plan, and the demo, has unlimited team members, because reviews and approvals need several people.
Does Backsplice decide whether we meet a law or a standard? +
No. Backsplice supports your AI governance program: it keeps the registry, runs the assessments, records who approved what and why, and produces the evidence. Whether your organization meets a law or a standard is a judgment for your organization and its advisers.
What does Watney do with our data? +
Watney sends the model provider only what a task needs: the records you typed, documentation you paste in, and the contents of uploaded evidence files (or its earlier summaries of them) when Watney reviews or drafts an answer or summarizes evidence. It proposes; it never approves, sets a risk tier, or publishes anything. Watney's own system card describes what it sends and the provider's terms.
